Meet Angel Collinson at the Sony Booth at SIA Today

Next Up

Angel will be at Sony's booth, #575, at the SIA tradeshow in Denver today from 4-6 pm signing autographs.

Want to talk core? While ski town locals might be vindicated by having spent a few seasons in Tahoe, Jackson, or Vail, Angel Collinson and her brother Johnny win the local's battle. They grew up in Snowbird employee housing, where their parents both worked, and logged more pow days by freshman year of high school than most could hope to get in a lifetime.

Starting the siblings young certainly had some effect, as Angel has twice been the champ of the Freeride World Tour. Comfortable at speed and able to sneak through critical Alaskan sections as well as any of the guys, as her Mind's Eye segment undoubtedly shows. An integral part of the TGR crew now, Angel can not only handle herself in the big mountains, but advocates that snow should stay on them by supporting the efforts of TGR's environmental non-profit partner, Protect Our Winters, along with Action Cam teammates Ian McIntosh, Dash Longe, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa.

Having shot with the Action Cam during TGR's Fantasy Camp trip to Alaska last spring, Angel hopped on the full Action Cam team this winter. "What I like most about the Sony Action cam is how small and sleek it is, as well as the quality of both the visual and the audio - the picture is crystal clear and you can hear what's going on better than any other action cam in the market," Angel said. "I don't even notice it when it's on the side of my helmet. And when you start recording and when you stop recording, it has different noises - eliminating the 'Is it on? Is it blinking?' problem."

Angel will be at Sony's booth, #575, at the SIA tradeshow in Denver today from 4-6 pm signing autographs so be sure to stop by! The new Action Cam will be available in March for around $299.99 and will offer the following features:
