April has taken the Andes by storm, literally. Heavy snow is currently falling in Las Lenas, Argentina with another 6 inches at the base expected before clearing this evening. Forecasts show another potential storm arriving on Friday.
As we reported last week here on Teton's Stash, parts of Chile and Argentina are expecting more snow than last season's El Nino, and so far the forecast has been accurate. Local friends in Las Lenas are reporting 3-4 feet at the top.
